Derby brings a tough but lovable style to Concentric as our head of HR. Not one to go by the book himself, Derby nonetheless makes sure that all HR functions are handled in a flawless manner, regulating all activities, restrictions and policies. One of his first acts, was tearing to shreds the old HR manual in a move designed to shake things up.

Skilled at training, after receiving his own training at the PetSmart Institute, Derby combines a dogged tenacity with a fun sense of play, perfect for the environment. But don't get on Derby's bad side as his bark AND bite are equally ferocious.

Reporting directly to Nicole, Derby manages the SunTek account in addition to his HR duties. Derby is a native of Charlotte and where he received his AKC and MBA from a local institution. Prior to working for Concentric, Derby worked in R and D for the Hartz Corporation and held escalating positions in Research with Hill's Science Diet. People say that Derby works hard and plays even harder - but he really just wants to be part of the pack.
