Shop&Care program

Easter Seals, a charity for children and adults with disabilities, has teamed up with Food Lion stores, brokers, manufacturers and customers to raise money through their annual Shop&Care program for the last 15 years. The program has always raised money, but together with Concentric Marketing, 2006 became a record-breaking year, raising an astounding $1.61 Million during a four-week period from February 1st to February 28th.

Concentric developed a range of program awareness materials, including shelf tags, store posters, mailers, employee buttons and hand tags. These materials helped customers identify participating products, and decide which ways to donate. With strategic thinking, in-store promotional events, impressive creative displays and employee and customer excitement generated by the “Imagine Greatness” slogan, store territories and departments were able to increase their fundraising totals by 20% to an amazing 400% over last year’s amount.

Fully utilizing a limited marketing budget, Concentric was able to help make a big impact. By increasing customer awareness, providing an array of supporting materials, and planning ways to generate excitement among customers and staff, Concentric was able to help develop and execute a record-breaking program for Food Lion and Easter Seals in 2006. This program is the single largest fund-raiser for Easter Seals in the United States.
