In our early years we were the brains behind national project, promotion and design work for wonderful, but immensely wasteful, consumer brands. Profitable work, sure. But true marketing is more than tactical execution. So we took a step back, determined to create a better model – unlike traditional agencies who seemed to be losing their relevance. Endless blather and archaic thinking within the agency-client relationship had become outdated. We knew that we were meant to play a larger role in building the brands of tomorrow. We had to reshape ourselves to become more nationally relevant. Like some of you, we set out to rethink everything.
A better model existed.
